SATURDAY ITINERARY

We will be kicking things off at 8:30 on Saturday morning at the Seabrook Commons parking lot, in Seabrook, NH. This location is less than one mile off EXIT 1, of Interstate Route 95, which is conveniently right after the Route 495 interchange too. There is gas and food next door, so everyone can fuel up before hitting the road. The meeting spot is circled in red and two of the closest Friday night lodging options are circled in yellow

After we hit the road, our first stop will be the Maine Classic Car Museum at approximately 10AM ( https://www.mainecarmuseum.com/ ), which is a smaller, but fairly new museum. The visit will be about an hour, before we hit the road again. We will make one more quick stop for gas, before we head north for our final stop of the day, where we will be having lunch, at the Boothbay Craft Brewery ( https://www.boothbaycraftbrewery.com/ ). If you've been there with NERR before, you know it's big crowd favorite.

While there, make sure to say hi and thanks to Win & Lori for hosting us once again and for also creating and brewing a beer specially for NERR, to help with our fundraising efforts.

From here, it is just a quick six minute drive to our host hotel, so we aren't scheduling a time for people to leave, that way they can enjoy the brewery as long as they want.

SUNDAY ITINERARY

Sunday is a much different day. We will kick off a short morning cruise at 8:30AM, right from the hotel parking lot. This will be the highlight drive of the entire weekend, with slow coastal cruising around the Boothbay area. For those of you that joined us for 2021's Sunday drive and thought that was a good one, you should really be impressed with this one. We're even leaving one wildcard drive on the table for that morning and people won't even know if it happens, until it happens. This drive will be under 1 1/2 hours, so everyone will still be back in the harbor early enough to enjoy all it has to offer

SATURDAY ROUTES

Leg 1 (kickoff to gas stop, via museum):

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

This leg is pretty straight forward, the only funny part are the last few steps to pull into the gas station. If you've been with us before, you know where to pull in (actually about 1/4 mile further than directions state), if you haven't been there with NERR before, just follow the car in front of you.

Also, usually we use these stops for bathroom breaks, along with fuel, but since it's just a half hour from museum, we're just going to make this one a REAL QUICK fuel stop and to gather everyone up again, before we start cruising the back roads to our lunch stop.

Leg 2 (gas stop to hotel, via brewery):

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

We're basically starting this leg on step #5 because the first four are just pulling out of the parking lot.

Ignore the address after step #24 and also ignore step #25, because that address was just a way point we had to enter, to make the route work

SUNDAY ROUTE

Coastal cruise around Boothbay

IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

After step 16 that is not an actual destination for us, it is just a waypoint, so ignore it (along with step 17)

After step 21, skip steps 22 thru 24. Once again this was just used as a waypoint to make the route work.

POSSIBLE BONUS RIDE!!!

Depending on how the morning is going, we might make a little detour before heading back to our host property. That means that there could be a small unmapped change, shortly after we finish the last of our coastal driving that morning. We are going to leave this part off and see if we can cause a little "follow the leader" confusion for everyone. Definitely a high u-turn possibility scenario. It's only about an extra 3 or 4 miles, but it is a real nice coastal and backroads loop.
